Perhaps it was inevitable that two leaders in innovative technology came together with Bluetooth for cars. Although the Bluetooth vehicle accessories can adapt to other brands of portable MP3 players, they are usually referred to as Bluetooth for cars. The Apple iPod has become an iconic brand name like Kleenex or Xerox, in that any brand of MP3 player is usually called an iPod.
